Why do we need Nutritional or Dietary Supplements?

                      " If your diet is wrong then Medicine is of no use
                        If diet is right then Medicine is not required."

A balance diet comprising of healthy and diverse foods is key to promoting good health. Eating healthy food promotes good health and unhealthy food habits leads to a disease body. Healthy food contains vital nutrients that aids our body metabolic functions. Now-a-days our food is adulterated and full of chemical components and lack of these nutrients, which leads to an accumulation of toxins within our body, resulting in chronic disease in long time. Drug and medicines are poor substitute for dietary supplements. Medicines may be helpful for emergencies or acute condition but their long term usage very often reduces the important life force due to their inorganic nature.Now-a-days, if we want to live healthy,we will have to go for dietary supplements based on natural products.
It must be noted that medicines treat the symptoms rather than the root cause of disease  which is usually caused by wrong eating habits leading to an accumulation of toxin within the system. whereas a nutritious diet can rectify underlying cause of disease and restore one to wholeness of mind and body. Once we relise the connection between a wholesome balanced diet and good health, our food will be our medicine and maintaining good health will be a matter of making the right food choices and leading a healthy life-style.
